You couldn’t pay me enough… (Choosing mission over money)
It’s true: some days you couldn’t pay me enough to do the job I do. But you don’t have to. When you’re working in a mission-driven organization, and you’re excited about the mission, the reward is so much more than money.
We are not a church without a pastor.
Although, when a church is without a pastor, we tend to focus on what we lack in terms of leadership, vision, and spiritual care… this time in between can also be a time for the church to shine.
Your church was missing people yesterday.
The reality is, people love to be noticed. But perhaps more than that, people love to be missed. And too often the church focuses on who is new, and who is here, and misses the people who need to be noticed the most.
