We’d pray for our classmates, our teachers, our school, our government, and our nation. People who I had never heard pray out loud prayed out loud. And in the end, we all ate donuts and went to class as usual.

Day 4: Pray for boldness, and assure them
Our kids are longing to take risks and to stand out. But for too long we have struggled to minimize their risks, and cause our children to fit in.
Day 3: Pray for character: and esteem them
Our kids not only deserve our respect and esteem… they need it. They need us to say out loud what we see and admire in them. Words that affirm the characteristics in our children that we respect and admire, strengthen the character that is growing within them.
Day 2: Pray for Courage: and encourage them
This year, instead of after-the-fact encouragement, let’s launch our kids into their days filled with courage to face whatever they will bring.
